Just wanted to post a picture of my little monkey's Ravioli Extravaganza the other night. He had one heck of a time and mommy had a great time cleaning him up. He went straight from the highchair to the bath tub. What is it about tomato-based food products that stain EVERYTHING (hands, hair, skin, countertops, clothes, cooking utensils). It sticks to everything without coming off. Now that I think about it maybe the Space Shuttle's underbelly should have been made outta this stuff. But then there would not have been the record-setting "space walk".
I have one more food stuff oddity to discuss with you today. I took Luke in for his 1 year checkup and vaccinations on Monday. Now that monkey is eating solid foods, the pediatrician (who I love by the way--Yeah Dr. Tammy) gave me a handout on menu ideas and foods that are do's/don'ts for little one's. At the top of the list it say's. Food's NOT to give toddlers. For choking hazard or allergy reasons. At the very top of the list it said peanut butter (because the peanuts are a choking hazard as well as an allergy risk). Then the list rattles off a few other items. Then below the food's NOT to give was the Food's TO give list. The second item on the list was PEANUT BUTTER. Go figure.....things that make you go hmmmmm!
I will close for now, but I'm sure I'll be posting more at some point today. Life's never so dull that I only have one thing to talk about in a day.
